Geoffrey Hunt & Partners are looking for an experienced engineer to undertake the forensic investigation of engineering failures and other incidents. The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong materials background and possibly an MSc or PhD. Applicants with prior experience of forensic work would be particularly welcome.

The position involves a mixture of on site investigations, laboratory examinations and the preparation of detailed reports to be used in the Civil and Criminal Courts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

The overall package includes a competitive salary, company car and stakeholder pension scheme. The position is based in London.
